Global News
Global News is an exciting and innovative global citizenship education project exploring the wide range of English language newspapers and news services available on the internet. It's for KS3, KS4 and Post 16 teachers and students and aims to help young people develop critical thinking and questioning skills about news and the media and the global issues reported. The site contains a set of classroom activities tailored to the citizenship curriculum but could also be used for geography, English or RE.

Multiverse is an Initial Teacher Training Professional Resource Network (IPRN). The website provides teacher educators, student teachers and trainees with a range of resources that focus on enhancing the educational achievement of pupils from diverse backgrounds.

Zambuko
Zambuko Community Library Project is linking Bristol, England and Bindura, Zimbabwe to establish an educational resource centre serving schools and the communities of the Bindura/Goromonzi districts of Zimbabwe. Within this site you can access teaching resources and pictures to use in your classrooms.

Go-Global Resources
YHGSA The Yorkshire and Humberside Global Schools Association now has a resource supplying teachers throughout the region with the resources they need to bring a global dimension to their teaching. Over the next 5 years an increasing number of resources will be stocked by Go-Global Resources for teachers to purchase on line, through order forms in inspection boxes or at training events and conferences.

Tag Theatre Company - link to websiteScotland's nation theatre company for young people is working on a project with UNICEF for Scottish schools:

"TAG’s expertise will enrich the drama provision in primary schools during an 8 week residency (and in-service session), using drama as a tool to explore complex issues with the pupils and introducing a tool kit of techniques for teachers. We will build on our hugely successful 3 year drama and democracy project, Making the Nation, by exploring human rights and responsibilities, ethical enterprise and society on a global scale."
